QIAU's MRL TEAMS AS THE BEST IRANIAN ROBOTICS TEAM IN ROBOCUP COMPETITIONS 2018

The Iranian Robotics teams  earned 16 titles in RoboCup competitions in Montreal-Canada, with MRL teams as the top Iranian team with 9 titles.

 Montreal in Canada hosted   RoboCup 2018  competitions, where the researchers from top universities  participated in two senior and junior sections.

MRL from QIAU stood the first place in Rescue simulation league. Another  QIAU team  in Teen Size humanoids league earned the first place and the second place in technical challenge and competitions, respectively. Furthermore, MRL students in kid size league stood the second place and achieved two titles in technical challenge.

In Real rescue league, MRL from QIAU stood the second place and was awarded the "Best Team"  title in objects moving category.

The third place in work robots went to MRL research from QIAU and the third place in 2D Simulation league was achieved by Atomic Energy School.

Kavosh teams from Danesh High School achieved the first place in Line Rescue league as well " the Best Hardware Design".

Sina team from Avicenna High School stood the third place in Co-Space Rescue league.

Rasa Team from Isfahan achieved the second place in Light Weight Soccer League and students from Salam High School achieved "the Best Presentation" title.

RoboCup 2018 competition were held in Montreal Canada 17-21 June and 400 teams from  countries including Iran, Germany, U.S, Portugal, Austria, China, Brazil, Netherlands, Turkey, Mexico, Japan,…participated in the event. The Iranian robotics teams were as follows: QIAU's MRL, University of Tehran, Ilkhchi University, Salam High School, Kavosh High School, Farzanegan, Atomic Energy high School, Sina High School, Ejaee High School.
